WHAT IS MAKERIE WORKSHOP?
Makerie Workshop is a nonprofit creative lab for young makers, storytellers, and tech explorers.
It was founded by Harmony Lenasbunt and Liz Rosema - Creators/Leaders/Magic Makers of Camp Makerie. They have long envisioned a year round program that would bring the magic, community, and creativity of their camp to kids all year and be able to create even bigger and cooler things with our teens and youth.
Makerie Workshop offers "bite-sized camp" with immersive, hands-on programming in storytelling, art, and technology classes, clubs, workshops and after school options for ages 5-17.
Its a place where youth and teens get to dream big, make cool stuff, and grow into their most creative, confident selves.
From film school to DJ club, after-school art to immersive theatrical art/tech builds, we have a place for every kind of maker.

To empower youth through storytelling, art, and technology by providing barrier-free access to creative programs, mentorship, and community connection.
We believe every young person deserves to express themselves, discover new skills, and feel seen as a creator.

We have been able to secure a year round location by partnering with our sibling program Camp Makerie! LOCATION: 3536 NW 8th AVE Gainesville, FL 32605.

Fall enrollment for Elementary Programs will open in July, and we expect spaces to go fast, esp for the limited transportation we will be offering from select schools
Locations for pick up are TBD, so please fill out THIS INTEREST FORM and let us know if you need afterschool transportation
MIDDLE and HIGH programming is running ALL SUMMER LONG in Camp Makerie's Teen LIT program — In that program the teens will be starting our FIRST immersive Art / Tech build that will be our big opening event in the FALL! PLUS fun leadership workshops, after-camp DnD sessions, and tons of summer camp shinanigans! Hop on over to Camp Makerie and check it out!
